Get rid of the massive guest bed that your mom stays in like once a year. Move your desk/office into Cade’s “nursery”. Move that day bed couch to where the big bed was, your mom can sleep on that when she comes. You’ll have more space in that room. Give Cade that whole other bedroom.
If you want to get rid of some craft items you no longer use/need, think about giving to a local library. They have programs for kids, teens and adults and sometimes due to budget ($$) staff will purchase items themselves.
That game could be a good collab with Drew (lone fox) it could be a little competition
I’ve been a silent subscriber since the early DIY days, and I just felt like I finally needed to comment and say how incredible you are. Truly — you’ve made me feel like I can do anything 😂 I started with the “easy” apartment DIYs after watching your videos, and now I’m out here taking on full-blown house renovations like I am suddenly a contractor or something because of you. I’ve loved following every chapter — from the cottage to the gorgeous LA house. One of my favorite things about your content is that you show the mistakes and the successes. It never feels overly polished or performative. It feels human, earnest, cozy, and real, which is honestly so rare online now. Your videos are genuinely my comfort YouTube at this point. You asked before what content we like. It's this; the vlogs and the main channel. I love the long youtube content to relax. I watch religiously 🥹 Also — and maybe this advice is completely unwarranted lol — but I had an idea while watching this video: What if the current office became Cade’s bedroom? It’s smaller, but it has its own closet and would give him more privacy when you have guests. Then the larger bedroom could become a combined office + guest room with room for storage. The back section where Cade’s nursery is could be the workspace/desk area for both you and Romeo, and the main part of the room could stay a beautiful guest room (or whatever arrangement works best with the furniture). You could even do a super elevated pull-out sofa or daybed situation so it still feels really styled and intentional (which you would obviously make look 1000x prettier than the rest of us ever could 😂). I only mention it because I have an office/guest room combo in my own house and absolutely love it. I work from home, and I’m usually not working when guests are there anyway, so it’s ended up being such a good use of space. Anyway, this was mostly just my long-winded way of saying thank you for years of inspiration and comfort content 💛
I love how Romeo supports you in your career and aspirations. Having him say it’s not that you’re taking over his space but rather that the family business needs more space is beautiful. 🥰 While the more hard materials like glitter and tools can be in the garage I would avoid putting the paints and marker supplies in the garage to avoid them drying out. Especially after you spent all that time cleaning and testing to make sure they work. Do you have a link for those bins on Amazon? I have giant solid bins that I have to open to see what is in them before I can find anything.
You should reach out to a local school, see if teachers need supplies. They pay out of their own pockets for school supplies. They'd LOVE your supplies.
Back yard He/She Shed! You would turn it into something so amazing.
Could you change that closet to have double doors? Cut out the drywall to make it more accessible maybe. Your good at this stuff 😉 or maybe ask your mom 🤭
What if the bigger room becomes the joint office while the current office room becomes Cade’s room? Might give more space for both you and Romeo
Shout out to Kinsley!!! She looks so sweet watching your every move. Just love her so much.❤❤❤❤
Kensley (CEO) said the bins are approved!
Are you still doing your water coloring?
You should build a window seat into the bay window in your front livingroom, you could make it open for storage.
The design roulette idea would be a great series for shorts!
Happy Mother’s Day I noticed you don’t film in your room where you put your build in bookshelves. Would love to see the room and upholstery sofa
You have a warehouse now. Is there space there for the bins you won’t need often? Can your niece make use of the markers you used for fashion drawings?
My grandmother had a photo album like that and she used little adhesive corner "things" to hold the photos down. One to each corner. You can still find those online. Hers were black but I think they come in gold too.
GARAGE SALE TIME!!
Designers use those same pens for renderings and scetches. You have a great stash! All of you saying she has too much...she is artistic, and knows the.value. Now.they are organized M will know what she has. Besides DIY, with kids you make so many projects, costumes, birthday parties, etc.
Save those fun craft items like glitter and Pom poms, buttons and ribbons, etc. for Cade to use as collage materials as grows and plays! Those are all items I used daily as an early childhood teacher!
