Biggest Disappointment of the Season? 👀

The entire Premier League is a giant disappointment

Nah a top 6 team on the brink of being relegated is deffo more disappointing, ask the fans.. I think Liverpool fans are slightly happy with their seating in the league, given the season they have had.. spurs fans not so happy 😂

Tottenham are not big enough to warrant disappointment

How is it Liverpool?? Surely it’s spurs. They used to be a (supposedly) part of the big 6. Remember when some idiots wanted to create a European super league. Spurs were listed. Liverpool are doing ok.

So many disappointments in PL

Wirtz while costing a fortune came from another league, Isak on the other hand was arguably the best striker in the league or just behind Haaland so I'd say Isak was a bigger disappointment but the entire squad has been shite

It's Liverpool without question. From champions to dross after spending nearly half a billion quid on the likes of Flopian Wirtz.

I’ll explain why it wasn’t Liverpool, nor is it Isak or Wirtz, as a Liverpool fan. Although Liverpool spent 500 million, our net spend was 250 and we left ourselves short in several positions- CB, RB (I’ll explain in a minute), RW. On the players we brought in, I knew Wirtz would need minimum a season to bed in. Why? Because I looked at the previous midfield signings from Germany for Liverpool. Gravenberch and Dom. Both needed an entire year to bed in. Dom arguably more. Some injuries have been unlucky (Leoni, Isak and Ekitike). Frimpong is not a RB or a RW. He’s a RWB and can’t play either other position well enough. Kerkez has gotten better. Then there’s Isak… no preseason. Coach still rushes him in and he got a muscle problem. But by far most importantly is Liverpool and Slot have no idea how to use an out and out number 9. Last time we had one was Suarez and Slot never really played with one. Now, on to the coach. I knew we’d have a fall of this season from expectations and I’ll tell you why- it DID NOT start THIS season. It started February last year. When PSG didn’t give us a sniff and we needed 2 penalties to beat Southampton. When the players got adjusted to Slot in February, that’s when everything started to fall off. Salah’s numbers. Injuries coming far more. Performance. When you actually look at it now, while I thought we’d have far more points, the position is where I imagined we’d be

VAR is the biggest disapointment this season..... im a liverpool fan liverpool have pretty much got champions league next season, the way the last 12 months has gone im actually happy to finish where we are! the way i see it if salah hadnt fell off a cliff we would be in alot better shape.... nobody seen salah dropping off like that especially after last season

Cost of watching football

Tottenham definitely the biggest disappointment after wining the Europa and earning champions league football you’d expect them to do better

The only disappointment is the fans and pundits who fail to recognize greatness and fight shown by lower teams. This season showed the gap between championship and premier league. 3 Prem teams fighting from relegation, while promoted teams are staying up and some were fighting for Europe at some point. This season for all teams,it was about who can grind better to get a result,but overall it was hard for everyone. People seem to only think the League is good when top teams are rolling over lower teams. Its like attack vs defense,most people praise attack but hardly praise defense. There's always 2 ends of every stick.
