What a game that was I remember it like yesterday. I was in the stadium and endrick was sitting right behind me.
4 goal in 17 mins he must've been Lewandowski of the time
Alhamdulillah they didn't display it as 6-7
The only team to score 6 goals and lose? I do that all the time in Fifa!
For me, the funniest comeback is the Dinamo Bucharest - Foresta Fălticeni game in 2000. Dinamo had 4-0 at home in the 63rd minute. They lost 4-5 with 11 men on the pitch 😂
I remember Bristol Rovers needing 7 goals against Scunthorpe United on the final day of the season to fix a 6 goal swing against Northampton Town above them to get promoted. Northampton drew, Rovers won 7-0 in the dying seconds of the game in extra time. I’ve never witnessed anything like it, best day of football in my life. I know that technically isn’t the video subject, but hey I see it as a comeback of epic proportions (just not in the same game)
Arsenal vs Reading in the FA Cup was a big one. Reading went 4-0 up before Arsenal came back to win 7-5
To me it was the 2000 Mercosul final, Palmeiras was playing at home and went 3-0 before half time, only for that legendary Vasco side to score 4 goals in the second half, including a hattrick by Romario. It doesn't get better than that.
Newcastle vs arsenal was a great comeback when it finished 4-4 after arsenal went 4 nill up!
There was also another game in romania in 2000 between dinamo bucharest and foresta falticeni in bucharest. Dinamo had a 4-0 lead in the 63 rd minute and foresta came back and won 4-5. The team s owner went to the bar at halftime to drink his sorrows and then the players went to surprise him and after the match but he didn t believe them until the next day.
There was a baseball game where the Pittsburgh Pirates scored 10 runs in the top of the first inning they never ended up playing the bottom of the ninth inning because Philadelphia Phillies won 15 to 11 with the help of 2 home runs from one of the worst major-league players at the time (He was the Brian Scalabrini of baseball)
Historic and remontada? Dude every football fan knows VARcelona and what they were cooking with Negreira fc 😂
Reading and Montpellier both lost games from 4-0 up at half time vs arsenal and Marseille
To me, United winning the UCL to secure the treble in 1999, by scoring 2 goals in the 3 added minutes after spending 90 mins 1-0 down... has to be one of the best comebacks.
In covid, I remember West Ham being 3-0 at Spurs right up until the 81st minute only for Spurs to Spurs up the game and end up drawing it.
There is the Miracle of Dammam ensure the Nigerian U-20 team came back from 4 goals down to equalise in 30 minutes during the junior World Cup of 1989 in Saudi Arabia, before winning the match on penalties.
Honorable mention to river 1-2 flamengo in the libertadores final 2019, Borré scored for river in the 14 min and they were champions until the 89th minute when Gabriel Barbosa drew it and 3 minutes later another goal by Gabigol for flamengo, ending a 38 year period without the libertadores.
Sheffield Wednesday against Peterborough in the playoff semi finals
I can believe they didn't mention Brazil's historic comeback on 2014 WC semifinals, when they turned a whopping 0-7 against Germany in a 8-7 win, with only few minutes left on the clock.
And that’s how we got 67
