Mount was shocking signing that made no sense. £65m and a free agent 12 months down the line, not to mention he had no designated position in the XI. Appalling. Zirkzee simply isn’t up for it. The lack of physicality or urgency in his game. He’s probs easier to sell but some genius handed Mount a 200k a week contract. Shocking.

Mate it's one game where they've barely played all season. Even dorgu has looked poor since he came back. We need depth and without spending 400m or more. They're what we have. Rotation isn't always going to be a bad thing. But they need to be integrated more.

Or we get a manager who can use his players. Zirkzee is just a player who doesn’t suit games like that, will be crucial in the ucl leauge phase next year as the pace will suit him better and allow him to show himself. Even mount is a very tidy attacking player when you want to keep the ball, but he shouldn’t be playing cm

Brian Brobbey showed us exactly what has been missing from a player like Zirkzee. He was strong, run the channels and held up the play well. And as for Mount, the least said of him the better.

Man I was just watching the game and in my opinion, amad,zirkzee and mount were missing A Lot of important chances, thanks to Ruben Amorim for signing Lammens cuz that dude saved the day. I felt bad that today's match could've helped bruno to complete the assist record but hey, Sunderland was playing a great game too completely outsmarting United's 433 formation where every Sunderland player was marking one player of ManU, keeping more position than ManU. God if this continues like this, i don't think we can even survive UCL qualifiers, we need serious signings. And yea also the pitch was wet. Amad was such a good player, hope he gets his form back.

I went to the Newcastle game in December and he subbed in and he didn’t leave the center circle and literally looked like he was scared of the ball.

Okay, but let's be honest here We want this club to win things, and we then slam two players, who barely have seen the pitch for 3-4 months, one because he is injured all the time, another because there different managers don't think he is good enough. But a contract extension with mediocre Maguire on + 100.000 a week is just fine. Shawberto Carlos, who by the way doesn't even come close, since he can't make an overlap, og make more than a sprint of 10 yards Yes Mount and Zirkzee and not good enough, but they are not starters. Shaw is, Maguire is, both not good enough. And there are plenty others The depth of the squad is important, but if we want to win things we need starters, and only starters, we can't by a backup, because that should never be a buying point, you buy players because you think they are good enough

Everyone played really poorly, we can't just point fingers on individuals, can't just expect mount and zirkzee to come in and destroy a good opposition after not playing for so long. The only player that looked solid was Lammens, I still feel mount can be a good squad player, even mainoo was poor to say the least and the amount of times united gave away the ball with poor passing was so frustrating, this was exactly why strikers fail at united because there is simply no ball supply they can work with, just compare that with Sunderland how many dangerous crosses that came in and our wingers and fullbacks are trying to cut in and dribble as if they're Messi or something.
