You've reached the end
The Control Arm Catastrophizer 😂😂😂
Aka the _”The Ball Joint Buster 3,000”_
Dude swung that hammer like he was trying to win a prize at the county fair 😂😂😂
Looks like you can tear up some cv axles ball joints and damage a bunch of other things
Air hammer is your best friend. Congrats on getting the bearing out, but now you need the rest of the front end.
The cut to the slide hammer with Lionel singing "Hello" is absolute perfection. *Golf clap*
That's the hub/cv axle/ball joint/dust shield buster 3k!
For a second, I thought that was a trailer hitch and you were going to tow the hub out!
Its all fun and games until you whack the shit out of the fender
The cuts back to the slide hammer killed me!
I worked in my grandfathers mechanic shop on weekends and in the summers (ages 8 through 16) He was a Vietnam and Korean War vet as well as a drill sergeant, Army. Let’s just say he wasn’t the most patient individual. I remember on many occasions him yelling at me as I fumbled to disassemble similar car parts. I would use all manner of impact wrenches, crow bars, WD40, brake cleaner etc to accomplish tasks. The device behind you would have worked better in my humble opinion. On a related note, life has always been easier compared to those summers working on old cars in the Texas sun. Thank you grandpa for giving me the skills, discipline and “grit” to navigate this world..
It never breaks loose with one hit where I'm from 😂
Old guy once showed me an easy way to put the bolt in half way, then hit the head of the bolt with an air hammer. Pops right out. I worked at a shop and I tried for a long time to get one of out of a jeep. He came over and popped it out in 10 seconds lol
Mini sledge works just as well. This tool is also really good on rear bearings where the parking brakes are in the way.
I prefer the slide hammer
The down fall of using that tool. I feel the pain
Yep,it’s awesome. A simple 5 pounder can do it too For stubborn wheel bearings,it’s the best!
And that ladies and gentlemen is what you call out of the frying pan and Into the Fire
“I think you’re supposed to hit the square looking e-“ ….. “uhhh well it exploded”
I used that one a Subaru and it worked well
