You've reached the end
Before back up cameras you had to have a kid to guide you lol
Thats why I love my gmt 800. The 3 bolts holding the latch assembly in are right in the center of the tailgate. Once I figured that out I haven't missed the hitch once.
At a young age my father made me back up a 72 c10 to a wood trailer. Told me one day, no one's going to be there to guide you. It's not the truck.
Just keep the trailer fenders even on both sides using your mirrors I never have any issues
Just lift the trailer up and pull it to the hitch by hand
This has to be the most relatable shit I’ve ever watched.
Relatable
And with that the dodge only made it 5 miles in before it blew a head gasket, coolant hoses popped off the sockets, the head cracked and then the rear main started leaking
First guy looks like he drives a 500
Plainly the people that don't know what they're doing don't realize sometimes you gotta get out once or twice. Always easier with another set of eyes if they know what they're talking about.😅
Excuse it, aint a truck.
Although he was the devil. I appreciate the driving lessons he gave. I never have this issue due to the big rig driving lessons
Pro tip, whenever youre hooked up to your trailer. Look in the mirror and see how it lines up with your truck. Use the back quarterpanel or edge of the tail light as a marker and then look at the edge of the trailer. Save that mental image; whenever you back up to your trailer next, Line up the truck and trailer and make it even on both sides, then simply back up. Should be inline with the hitch or within a few inches. Dont try to imagine where the hitch is, you'll be chasing it the whole time. Better to line up the whole vehicle. This is how us truckers hook up to semi trailers.
Why dad still uses me to tell him if hes At the rugt angle or somthing to hook uo the trailer
Often I have to get out 10 times. Now and then I nail it and stand there laughing to myself. I have to instruct greenhorns, from time to time, with boat trailers. It always amusing.
Hey man I've got a mk2 supra that needs restoration that I could sell to you for cheap im in South East Wi for context and it needs to be trailered out but we have a ton of parts for it that we'll give you
Bro genuinely looks like Gordon Freeman
Heres an idea. Pick up the trailer and move it where you need it
Grandpa was strong enough to drag the boat trailer to the hitch, even with the boat attached
My dad used to make me stand behind the truck and help back him up. He only ran me over twice.
