How can you spot AI photos now that the new GPT Image 2 AI image model is really strong? I’m looking at background details, spatial reasoning, camera and physics mistakes, and small details in anatomy, and text rendering. This is how an understanding of camera physics can help. #aiphoto #ai #medialiteracy #camera #gptimage

Asking why they posted a blurry photo is actually a good idea
Every picture that i see i will say "Details matter" and rp as Jack Reacher
I got it instantly because of the PIZZA sign being so focused while everything is blurred
The eye is off i could instantly see it
Reminded me of lumia phone and even a small shake produced this image unless you had xenon flash on 8Mp. 41Mpx took too long to load and capture
... my eyes instantly snapped to the hand and arm. The arm just... It looks off like it was someone else's. If you covered her bicep and shoulder, I might have thought that either the camera person or someone out of shot had their arm reaching towards her. And her thumb looks simultaneously swollen and not at the same time. ... even her face, which her hand is partially covering appears bruised. That could be the shadow but it looks like discolored skin more than lack of light.
I'm at the point I don't even think my childhood photos from decades ago are real
Years from now, everything will all look too much the same that it will be exhausting trying to differentiate whether it’s Ai or not, thus not caring will be the more viable option.
the white sign standing off center is what tipped me
she also has eyeshadow on only one eye
My eye was immediately drawn to the pizza sign even before you pointed it out as the tell. But I’m glad you did. I definitely wouldn’t have known for sure. I hate that these videos are necessary.
I HAVE A WONKY FINGER TOO😢😢😢
My brain cannot accept that this is AI
Photographer here. The thing is, those faults _could_ occur at once at a slow shutter speed on certain cameras. On some cameras, the shutter opens side to side. Motion blur - especially close to or from the photographer - can change in the fraction of a second it takes to capture the far side of the frame. Which makes this even scarier.
pls explain why cant a moving man and the in opposite way moving hand both have motion blur? and what does the out of focus “Pizza” logo to the right to do with it? im genuinely curious, pls someone explain
I saw that post, and that unblurred shop was the exact thing I honed in on because of my experience with cameras and this guy's videos, lol
Pack it up boys, the internet is RIP. We gotta live in the real world now.
Forensic analysis is a fun topic for photography
Thanks to ai, I have realized how good I am at spotting generated photos.
The difference between the person who generates 1 image and posts it Vs the people who have a bunch of datacenter time to generate 500 and pick the one that's perfect
