I have 3 good girlfriends but I only tell one (best friend of 30 years) my business. And even she doesn't know it all. I do this thing were if I need to tell my friends something out of concern or constructive criticism I tell it to myself first to think about how it can be received. Because as a friend I never want to hurt my friends feelings even when "keeping it real" because Ephesians 4:15 tells us to speak the truth in love.
I gave up on having girlfriends a long time ago. It was too much BS to deal with. It's easier to have occasional interactions where I can keep it short and sweet.
If they tell your business when you fallout they were never a true friend. I’ve fallen out with people I considered friends and I will never “expose” them because while we were cool it was absolutely genuine on my part.
I’ve learned a lot about friendships in 2025. It’s a strict program now.

People I worked with (especially ladies) I had to let them know that the word FRIEND has to be earned with me. The friends that I have I can count on one hand. I am very careful of who I hang around with and who I invite to my house. I am about protecting my peace at all cost.
