What if you did a then we fight video where you choose a pokemon by their item- you could either do it by getting a random item for each pokemon and they get placed on the pokemon in front of you and then the opponent chooses based on that or you could do it where you tell your opponent their most popular competitive or smogon held item or something like that?-

VIDEO IDEA: POKEMON DRAFTS Pick starters like regular and build them however you want. But... after the pokemon are built, you flip coins (each round, so luck is involved) and take turns drafting from the selected starters. It could lead to a lot of funny mindgames. For example: You get a Regigigas? You could make him as awful as possible, expecting your opponent to steal. Or, knowing it probably won't be the first pick, a Maushold with huge power for speedy and hard-hitting population bomb. Put a choice band on top since it naturally outspeeds most mons
