I *LOVE* how we’re finally actually getting to witness the fate of James McCloud for the first time ever on screen, instead of it being relegated to text.
"Peppy... Keep an eye on Fox" 😭💔
I can't believe that aviators on a fox actually looks cool and not ridiculous
Peppy flying in a straight line: I can't shake him!
Pigma's smirk when he sees Andross' forces on the radar rules so hard
For the first time in 30 years, a tragic backstory is shown
I actually love that they’re adding more story cutscenes in this remake.
Fox, never give up, trust your instincts
It is genuinely interesting how this game is going to expand on the lore of the original and flesh everything out. I’m really enjoying what I’ve been seeing so far.
I like how they just immediately accept Pigma betrayed them. Makes me think they never fully trusted him and they saw it coming
I love how Fox and his dad are both foxes but his dad is named James and he named his son Fox
1:03 "there's more at stake here than our bottom line, pigma" with james and fox's paws on the side of the arwing cool environmental storytelling
An anthropomorphic fox with aviators on and flying a spaceship shouldn’t work, but it do. It really do.
“Daddy screamed real good when he died” -pigma Still get chills
This intro looks genuinely beautiful.
To actually see this moment take place is pretty sad. You can see the pain in Peppy’s face when he has to escape without James.
There’s a difference between reading what happened to James and seeing what happened to James… the latter hits like a truck.
"Your father helped me like that too" - Peppy
Replacing the opening narration with THIS is the textbook definition of “Show don’t tell”
NGL, pigma actually looks way better than his previous versions
