This just like the shows tho EXPLANATION: child is born and their dad/mom leaves then another child is born as a half sibling to the first and the step-mom/dad treats one better than the other and usually the one that gets treated better either doesn’t care (about the parent usually) or takes advantage of it and that one thats being treated unfairly cares better

Dude I have a stepdad and he treats me like his daughter and I treat him like my dad. It doesn't matter if their "not your kid", all kids should be treated the same way. Plus, I have a little brother that is my step-dads biological son and he treats us both the same.
