Morenike’s dad is such a good actor, he ate every single scene he appeared on. And he is kind of funny which I like
OMGGGGGGGG!!!! This movie is gold!!!! Like pure gold! It was such a breath of fresh air. It shows that men are also victims of bad marriages but most times they rather die in silence or settle out of court after their image have been ruined (just like Chima almost did). It also portrays that behaviours are learned and if one doesn't intentionally make efforts to avoid them you'd pick such behaviours up (like in the case of Chima's wife and mother in-law). Thank God for people like Chima's auntie-in-law that wouldn't sit back and watch people get destroyed, or bad family patterns repeat just cause the perpetrators are family. Morenike! The one who carried everyone! Who understood Chima's hurt even while she herself was hurting! Who gave him the benefit of the doubt, and saw that he was almost towing the same path her dad did. Baba Morenike! A man with a heart larger than life, even in his poor mental state, he literally dragged "Lakunle" home! And provided him with what he needed for his healing without even knowing it. Chima! The man who stayed n endured until it almost snuff life and all he laboured for out of him. Grateful that despite his hurt he didn't start anything with Nike, until he had his issues sorted out, even in anger and brokenness he honoured his vows, quite commendable. But I'm happier he found the courage to live again, and he let himself feel love again despite being hurt. The Villagers! Their isolation towards Morenike and her father carried the entire plot. The rejected stone indeed became the corner stone Most importantly let me go and share and ensure this movie racks up views!!!!! Well done Mama Omoni, the entire cast and crew!

Besties let's us give our Mama Omoni Oboli her flowers 🌹 for this remarkable and great movie. Everyone's nailed their character so well and they brought their A-game. One thing I love about this movie the most it's the plot twist especially at the beginning from the first 30-35 minutes it's so intriguing. Omoni Oboli proves to us that Consistency, Intelligence, Creativity, Humility, Generosity, Honestly, Hard work, Intelligence and Prayers it's the key. This is not just a movie, it's a real life experience that so many people are going through in this life. I pray that this movie gets the highest views because it's very amazing and worth it. The quality is top notch and it's giving the position vibes. Lessons learnt, lessons deep. There's something about that village setting that made me nostalgic. It was a breathe of fresh air. It made me realize how much noise we've normalized. How we've convinced ourselves that being busy means being alive. But there in that village, life moved differently and happiness didn't seem to cost money. It took me back to old Nollywood.
The fact that chima didn't allow his emotions control him when morenike kissed him is the fact that there are still faithful men out there.

This is such a beautifully written film! The part when Morenike told Chima about how she's treated by the people in the village , and told him he was her first friend...oh it was finished, the waterworks started😭 When Chima told the people the one who they called cursed is the one responsible for the beautiful to their community, it reminded me of Jesus (Matthew 21:42) Well done!
