i had locking jaw until i got my wisdom teeth out i was getting on and off locked painful jaw for 6 months until last month on the 22nd when i got my wisdom teeth removed it was horrible i couldn't even open my mouth bc if i did i would have had it lock on me it hurt so much the oral surgeon gave me muscle relaxers before my removal but they didnt work the only thing that helped was removing the wisdom teeth now my jaw is so much better and my head doesn't feel like a stress ball but im saying anytime you get locked jaw its not fun and it hurts like h3ll

I'm so mad that when I went to the hospital and dentist my lock jaw was NOT treated this seriously at all. I couldn't open my mouth more than 2 fingers and I was told "oh you're too small to get muscle relaxers, you should go to a doctor (didn't even fully look at it)" and I'm like ok.. weird.. not like I'm a full senior in hs scheduling and going to my own appointments but whatever. I go to the doctors, tell them what's wrong, they completely dismiss me by saying I should go to they dentist and they don't deal with this stuff. I was so fucking mad, aoni just lives with it for 9 whole months. Had to force myself to open my jaw to eat (very painful). ONLY thing that fixed my jaw was biting down on a frozen milkdud which popped my jaw back into place. I get ao envious seeing this videoa of pwoplw getting help immediately where as I was turned away twice and had to live with barely opening my mouth for 9 months.

I had this happen to me in middle school and it was horrible. I constantly have tmj issues now and my jaw clicks if I over extend it and gets stuck for a second that goes back into place😂 my jaw was stuck open like that for 3/4 hours and my cheeks were bruised the next day

The doctor asking if she was married while her jaw was stuck open is so wrong

I get lock jaw too but to were I cant OPEN my mouth I have to massage my jaw just to be able to move my mouth again it happens so many times a day and it’s so annoying
