Recently, my friend and I went on a trip on a Triumph Scrambler 400X. We’re almost the same height and have a similar build, but he could flat-foot the bike comfortably on both sides while I was on my toes. We later realized that he was slightly heavier, and his legs were longer compared to his upper body. So, when considering a bike’s seat height and flat-footing ability, it’s important to look beyond the rider's overall height. Leg length and body weight can make a noticeable difference.

Booked this bike on launch day itself and waited almost 2 months. Back then, even the TVS showrooms had no proper updates and barely knew anything about the bike. No test ride vehicles either. Honestly, I had almost lost hope after waiting that long. That’s when I got a call saying there were 2 units of the first batch 2025 KTM ADV 390 X available. Visited the showroom, inspected the bike, got a crazy deal, and bought it immediately. Been using it for the last 5 months and I’m genuinely happy with the purchase. The only issue is that it drinks fuel and engine oil. Apart from that, everything else has been great. If you don’t usually ride with a pillion, I would definitely suggest extending your budget a bit and going for the KTM ADV 390[350]. It’s an absolute fun machine. Also, TVS spare parts availability is a mess, and the pricing is on the higher side too. Cheers and happy motoring! 🍻
