But seriously- if this guy really cares about the environment- I’d have the upmost respect for his efforts (family history aside) if he paid for his ventures and ideas himself. I mean….he comes from a family with ENDLESS money….don’t expect us PEONS to pay for your adult science projects. If you want to save the environment, I fully support that. I agree with a lot of his views. But it seems silly to tax people to pay for change when you have more money than anyone in the world. Start fundin’ that change yourself richie rich!

You see the frequent use of "I realized" to emphasize he had an epiphany which he is hoping the listener will subconsciously accept as fact. This is a common tactic used in verbal persuasion by professional confidence artists to create a false intimacy with the listener. Also the repeated use of "we" and "us" and "our" to convince you that we are all one big social unit and guess who has appointed himself the de facto leader of this psychological substructure? Clever these snakes.

I remember an interview with this guy. He spent about 15 minutes talking of his environmental work, charities, pollution, but almost every single time he spoke would finish with ‘.....and that is why we should all be paying our green taxes.’ So transparent as to why this guy does what he does.
