My heart goes out to this woman and her family. Just like a mom would, she remembers the smallest details about her son. To this very day...years later she is still crying. That pain never goes away. She couldn't even turn to her church. Unbelievably sad. She will be in my prayers.

I have sever hemophilia, more than 20 yeras ago I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C because of injection of infected Factor8 with HCV, eventually about 2 years ago I found out I have cirrhosis and I am under treatment since then.I exactly know what did you and Ryane went through.there is no word to describe it....I am not American but I know Ryan through Michael Jackson,because Im his fan.when I informed Rayn and Michael were friends and found out that Michael sang a song GONE TOO SOON for him,for first time,I was proud to be a hemophilic,I think Ryan was so brave and his legacy will live forever.

I suffer from Hemophilia A - Factor 8 deficient. I always find myself being envious of a mother's strength to protect their child and do what has to be done. I swear her & my mother tell their stories of administering treatments to their son almost verbatim. Good women. Brave women. Thank you Ryan for raising awareness both in Aids research and the Hemophilia community. I truly witness legend everytime I see your face.

I can't believe what Jeanne had to go through as a mother. Amazing woman. As a parent myself I couldn't imagine the pain you had to endure to just get your son to have a normal life.

Thank you so very much for sharing your story, Ryan's story. Your whole family has shown the world such strength and courage. I admired you all then and still do. You will never know how much you helped the families fighting the same health battles and discrimination. The fight for JUSTICE continues.

His mother has so much courage it breaks my heart if Ryan had a made it a couple more years I’m surprise she didn’t sue the crap out of the hospital since they were the ones that infected him with HIV/AIDS by giving him tainted blood before testing it for HIV that how he contracted the disease. I’m happy shes keeping his legacy alive we need more people like her it’s not HIV/AIDS that kills it’s ignorance and fear that kills that’s more deadly than anything.

I know exactly where I was & what I was doing when I heard that Ryan White had died. My heart broke for his mother. No one deserves to be treated that way.

Oh wow ofcourse, the judgmental religious people. Will they ever learn who God is. Michael Jackson was supportive with this family and became a friend of Ryan. He probably also related to the feeling of being judged and talked about.

To live a hard life with hemophilia then the factor gave them peace, came down with HIV from transfusion and lived a horrible life not only being sick but had to deal with the back lash of the public’s fear about a new virus not understood and feared and then die a slow horrible death. What a terrible time but what a legacy he left. He is now laying in the hands of God who tells him Ryan i got you. Please just rest. Everyone here accepts your incredible soul and you wont be ostracized ever again.

I remember Ryan, all the tv coverage and raw hate directed toward him. He was a patient and forgiving person considering all the bigotry he face. I hope his rest is filled with great peace.

What makes a mother is that they will be strong without choice in the worst of circumstances for their children. Jeanne is such a mother.

My great aunt was one of Ryan’s many nurses at Riley.
