The world when it’s my turn to be an adult
“Sure, we destroyed the world. But for a short time we created a lot of shareholder wealth”
If wiping out humanity pleases the shareholders then that's what will happen.
I think we can all relax guys….Claude will hit its usage limit before any of this happens.
I feel like I am already in a zoo
There is a 13th outcome. We fail in creating a superintelligent AI. Oh darn what a loss. I'm rooting for this one. C'mon human stupidity, we can do it! EDIT: Wow, this comment blew up. I find it hilarious that so many commenters think ASI is an imminent certainty when even experts can't agree if its even possible. From an article on Scienceline, published 5 days ago: "Amodei believes it’s a couple of years away, but not everyone thinks he’s right. Some skeptics argue it may take decades or even centuries to achieve AGI — if we ever get there. ". And that's AGI, not ASI which is vastly more powerful.
I really hope AI will help us explore the universe instead of destroy it...
If we're kept in a Zoo, and they decide to keep us in different eras, I would like to be stuck in the 90's terrarium, please.
the problem is not AI, it's rich business man with the emotional maturity of a three year old
If the solution involves us all pulling together as a team, we are doomed.
true ending: the project gets closed early because it's too expensive
getting ads for AI assistants during this video is really poetic
Frankly, I don't think any of these scenarios will play out. What will actually transpire is going to be much weirder, far weirder than we can possibly imagine at this stage.
We fear AI because we see ourselves on it, we fear that AI will do to us,what we did on others.
Okay, that bee thing freaked me out.
You are missing the suicidal AI, where AI realizes there is no point in life
Superinteligent AI will take over without us noticing. No visible wars, only slight changes, where AI influences all out decisions.
"There is a significant risk of human extinction" "Yep, let's just keep going" - The humanitys elite.
"Extinction isnt rare, its the default", Crocs and Sharks "Na we good mate"
As someone who has been ranting about the collapse of insect populations for 20 years now, hearing you say that you didn't know and that most people do not care was absolutely devastating.
