I had a roommate who was convinced that deodorant would give you cancer. She kept stealing it and throwing it away. I had to buy a locked cabinet for my deodorant. She was super stinky and I am still cancer-free😅

Dad told me once that if someone owes me money and i see them spending it on anything but necesities before paying me back to not loan it to them ever again, regardless of how much their friendship means. Im 40 and its saved me alot of guilt from saying no the 2nd time around.

I once had a roomie that wouldn't get a job and when we argued about it she would hyperventilate herself into passing out. After it happened twice i left her on the floor and walked away.

I once lived with this group of people..2 females constantly cranky and got clothes and makeup everywhere 3 males 2 of which would pee in the yard bring home any old trash ..no body cooked nobody cleaned everyone complained to me about everyone else sometimes openly and 1 of the makes was constantly touching my butt and boobs and always slept in my room whether I liked it or not ..I finally called my mom to come get me and told her what was going on ..but she refused and said ..those are your kids and your husband . Imagine how upset I was she didn't care..😂❤

When you are broke, you can't have a pet! Lol You also can't take trips. You need to be saving money to be gradually saving for emergencies such as your car problems. Even if it's just $5/paycheck, save your money!

I made the mistake of being roommates with a best friend for freshman year of college. She rarely slept in the room, as she had decided to move in with her boyfriend instead. Her brand new boyfriend. Due to her being at school two weeks early for sports (where she met said BF) she was supposed to be in our room ready to show me around when I got there. Nope. She then started spreading rumors back home to our friends and family that *I* had moved in with a random dude, was basically turning into a hellion, yelling at professors, and accusing housemates of things. When I tried to defend myself, our mutual best friend believed her, because they’d been childhood best friends. But she knows now that I was the one who was innocent. It’s been 20 years and I still would love to just chuck a water balloon at her face. lol we’re Facebook friends though. 😂

roommates can only work when all parties have the same amount of respect for each and contributes. If one doesn't show respect and contribute then that is not a good roommate and would be difficult to work with.

Just because a cat is neutered does not mean they will not spray. I have two neutered cats that spray constantly.

As a cat owner… having one who isn’t neutered or spayed is … a lot. Especially a male because they make everything. Akashi marked me once 😭 and then my curtains that I had washed the day prior. He got neutered since then and no longer does it. So yeah…

19:42 my husband and I have BOTH been clean for 18 years and we still go to meetings, when we have the time(3 kids,2 grandkids, 2 pets, jobs). But OP is well within her boundaries and self respect to kick her “friend” out. Although, she’s not a real friend.❤❤

Last story, the father doesn't want OP there and the "smell" isn't there but a way to make OP feel like crap. There is such a thing as scent sensitivity so maybe they should've not rented a room to woman or non-family member.
