Catches in Cricket are such a big deal because the batter stays in to bat until they get out. So, if you think about baseball and having someone like Aaron Judge hitting dingers all day against you and you finally get to catch one to have him sit. Once a batter is out, he's done for the game, so catch celebrations are pretty big.
:40 It's called Capoeira
Glen Philips catches laughing at the corner😂
You should add some catches of glenn Phillips
Trust me as kid who played cricket a LOT during the 90s/2000s. You grow a third ball when you catch those hard balls flying in the air.
Capoeira from Brazil is a dancing martial art form.
Sometimes you can hear the ball fizzing as it rockets towards you. Makes catching it even scarier.
Cricket balls are hard as hell, especially when new. At the start of the season one's hands are very sore!
Miss playing
6.00 No 4 guy is now playing for usa...Corey Anderson
A baseball is soft, a cricket ball is a rock
I've raced there. One lap foot race. Took 29 minutes and I loved it.
The dance/martial art form you were referring to is Capoeira, from Brazil
A standard senior men's cricket ball weighs between 155.9g and 163g (5.5 to 5.75 oz), measuring 22.4cm–22.9cm in circumference. The ball is constructed with a cork core tightly wound with string, covered in leather—typically red (Test), white (limited-overs), or pink (day/night)—and stitched with a prominent seam.
Some catches from silly point would probably blow their minds.
I have seen a second division cricket match one guy catch the ball by doing a somersault
There are so many great catches, these are just a couple.
So many old clips instead of new ones
There are many different types of balling and shots you have to watch it too
6:03 - You meant Capoeira
