The worst part about the Cam Newton clip is it was the SUPER BOWL!...
Introduce Karen to Larry Bird so she can see old school professional basketball being played by the GOAT.
Larry bird ultimate mixtape. Show what hustle and defense looks like.
NOBODY in Tampa Bay was on BJ Upton's side in that bullshit effort. Kudos to Longoria for calling him out, and for TV to show it.
No wonder teams that James Harden is on chokes in the playoffs!
Ww need the here comes the boom nfl hardest hits reaction
Loved Karen cheering at the 8:00 mark like it's a live superbowl in the final moments 😂
In football you keep playing until you hear the whistle.
The last play by Bailey is a record that will literally never be broken. They have since changed the rules so that even if nobody touches the ball it's a touchback if it lands in the end zone.
You know what you DIDN'T see in this video? Hockey Players!
I knew my Saints were going to be on there.
It was pretty explicitly explained in the 1980 movie Airplane that the NBA doesn't play defense.
1:40 i dont know what happened after this but if youre the manager (coach), you have to take out this player. Lost his temper, didn't even try to get the ball toward infield, another player had to run honestly not a short distance to get the ball and throw it home and someone scores.
02:08 - The death of NBA defense can be traced back to the _"Malice at the Palace"_ incident.
I swear Baseball feel like the angriest sport sometimes
They could make a whole video out of nyjer morgan that dude was something else
Cutler was not having it with the wilcat offense, having to line up at receiver like eff this lol
There are some great sports bloopers reels out there. Some great base running anomalies where it is proven what your little league coach always told you about running it out and always keeping you head in the game.
I'm sorry. I started watching the NBA religiously in 1977-78. No one played defense then either. The Nuggets averaged 121 ppg game in an era where you took less than 5 three pointers per game, and they gave up 122 points per game that same year (1981-82). A decade later they were giving up 145 points per game (!!!) until firing their head coach for literally telling his players not to play defense. James Harden may be a matador, but the defenders are as good now as they have ever been. The "we were tougher" nonsense from the retired NBA players is the same crap we heard in the 1980s from the guys who smoke cigerettes during timeouts in the NBA of the 1950s. Now they're guilty of it too. It's what washed up ex-jocks do. Tell you much much tougher THEY were compared to today.
Seeing basketball today is such a letdown that I would just be better off watching the highlights
