Even if every tree on Earth stopped making oxygen tonight, there is enough oxygen already in the atmosphere to keep humans breathing for thousands of years. Scientists have calculated that if all photosynthesis (oxygen production) on Earth stopped today, it would take roughly 2000 to 5000 years for the oxygen levels to drop from 21 down to that dangerous 15 mark We have a massive buffer
