4:28 he thought we wouldnt notice the same pack opening as last time...
RCE you need to use the relay for your automations! It allows for Logic operations (ABD, OR, XOR, and NOT). If you do this with your water and depth sensors you will be able to have multiple criteria for your water pumps
12:39 He MUST have read all the comments about the distance of the bad water pump. Its been WEEKS! 😂
Oh my god, this is what I was waiting for whole week. At about 4 minutes he builds a staircase to get to a high area and immediately blocks any further expansion by the pods and the power shaft :D
Why does Matt refuse to just Plant. More. Trees.
12:25 you have explained this before. If a beaver is older than the age that they would normally die at without a life expectancy bonus, and their bonus is eliminated by being contaminated, they die of old age immediately. Michael Scott and Darth Architect died of old age, but it very well may have been the contamination.
Your whole power system is reliant on haulers, but you low prioritized them
RCE WHY DID YOU GET US SICK 15:04 he suggests shipping me off to a lovely farm up state to play and frolic eternally
Swear that pack has already been opened
20:35 Gotta love the very simple math error here... the speed going out is .28, yes, but it's 4 blocks wide. Similarly, the input (where he's checking) is at .44 with 3 blocks wide. In reality, the calculation should be: (.44x3)-(.28x4), which tells him the flow-rate he *needs* is actually 0.2, but again through 3 blocks, so his flow valves would need 0.07 to supply just what his colony needs... It's a good thing he forgot to account for that, so he always has a surplus of water still. I'm curious if he noticed he accidently made a reservoir to supply his colony with water during a drought (but not a badtide)... as he'll flood his colony with badwater very quickly given his current plan of just unlimited flow when badwater's detected. The flow would be... overwhelming.
RCE has mandela effected me into thinking this game is called timberborners
Timberborners Friday!!!!!!!!!
I love how this game allows you freedom to make the land how you like, but it still provides challenges so it doesn’t get too easy or boring
14:07 And even that last hauler quit immediately 😂
The throttling valve and the other valve before the throttling valve is what used to be the beloved sluice, you can use that to diverte bad and good water, just make one set that only allows bad water to dump it on bad tides (use a contamination sensor) and do the oposite for good water, this way the system should self regulate, also if you use this valve with a depth sensor you can essentially let water out only until it reaches a certain level, and once it does, it closes and builds pressure inside the tunels leading the water whererever you want, you can have a whole network of tunels feeding the whole map basically, just cap all the tunel exits and control how much water gets out
RCE for the thing that cures the beavers set it up in tiers. One detecting if there's 1, it turns 1 one. Then one to detect more than one beaver, which activates the second tier which is say 5. Then you do a detector for more than 5 which turns on the rest.
I'm still wondering about the choice to use that massive natural reservoir for badwater. Maybe Matt just really wanted to call it "Lake Pooperior"
The two RCE-isms that tickle me the most, "I understand now" and "NOT ideal!"
25:06 Kinda want Matt to send a bunch of beavers through the poo water to test this out😂
Waiting all week for this
