A “danger close” call is made BY THE BOOTS ON THE GROUND. And even then the Air/artillery support can still decline it. Killing two of your own would basically put you in jail on cleaning toilets duty for couple of years

In the army, you disobey a direct order, you get fired and court marshaled. Doesn't matter if you save lives or do good, the chain of command don't want rogue elements in them.

He should have been court martialed and sent to prison for killing those 2 soldiers it wasn't his call and he disobeyed a direct order. He is a arrogant hot head who would get more killed so put him in prison were he belongs if u need his skills he can pilot from the jail cell he doesn't deserve to b free he should b in prison
