My best friend in college was German and I visited his family there one summer. While there I learned that he peed sitting down which I thought was odd. I found out that his older brothers wife complained to her MIL that her husband was getting pee all over the toilet so she made her husband and all 3 of her sons start sitting to pee, always, in all circumstances no matter where they are.
