"Please take care of them" is a polite way of saying "we absolutely do not want them, do not send them to us" 😅
A Hidden door with hidden dolls.... Sounds like the beginning of a horror movie.
humans: "let's start pulling down the ceiling!" Pancake: "I'm out"
Those dolls looks really old. Even if they wasnt this beautiful you cant just throw them away. Consult your local shintopriest first in that case.
The house that keeps giving.😊
One last thing... it is dangerous to set down a running chainsaw. You should always shut off the motor before setting the chainsaw down. Please be careful - you seem like such nice people - we would hate to see you getting injured.
I greatly appreciate the time it takes to make these beautiful videos. Moving the camera, setup up shots, editing including sound, is very time consuming. And this on top of your hard physical work AND your jobs. ❤
Wow!! I know a lot of people find dolls creepy but as a lifelong doll collector, this was just thrilling to see. A treasure trove!. I have a couple of antique Hina dolls in my collection, but to find so many all at once?
今晩は。日本の古い家をリホームするのは大変ですが、応援しています。
There are likely some really beautiful wood beams above those drop ceilings. Sometime in the 70's, cheaply installed drop ceilings became popular, sometimes so they had to heat less space, sometimes because they wanted it to look more modern. The good thing is, it's easy to tear out and is like a very pleasant surprise when you get to expose those old wood beams.
Ever since your first videos, these giant spiders have always helped me combat my wanderlust 😅
My sundays are always a little better when I get to see a new video!
Pampas grass is almost impossible to get rid of. I have one in my garden, and I have burnt it down multiple times. Last time was at the end of July. The grass was full of weeds, mice, and other pests. Surprisingly, the grass burnt all the way to the ground, then grew back without the weeds and mice.
You’re really good at video editing. It’s calming, but not boring. Watched you since your first viral video ☺️ you seem like such a genuine and kind couple. This house is gonna look like such a dream in a couple years!
Totally impressed you blurred ppl’s faces - I really appreciate it when channels make the effort to protect people’s privacy. Being from 🇨🇦 also I think the first thing I would want to do insulate and put in double pane windows although I don’t know if it makes sense to do so. 🇨🇦 is cold and I’ve seen videos of snow in Japan- I lived in Vancouver with single pane window and I felt like I could never get the house warm enough
The grain on the cedar you were cutting down looks quite lovely. You might want to think of trying to cut some slabs out of it, they would make great looking tables.
I love that Pancake (very briefly) also wore a blue cleaning overall 😂
I often wonder if you ever think, "What have we done?!" Also, cover the tatami mats before you rip out more ceiling panels.
Those dolls are amazing, how precious. When you said someone was on their way to help as you were unpacking the dolls, I was expecting a mouse or creature to jump out of on3 if the boxes, lol
That is a heroic amount of work to get the new place in shape. You have my admiration!
