Loquareeous hears the class is going to watch something tied to Black Panther and gets so hyped he starts dancing in the classroom, with classmates cheering him on. The teacher reads it as disruption, he doesnβt immediately stop, and heβs sent to the principalβs officeβthen the school calls in his mother and grandfather. A white counselor frames it like a behavioral or learning issue, even floating the idea of special education, but his mother sees a different danger: a Black kid βperformingβ in a white school can get punished in ways he doesnβt understand yet. In the hallway she forces him to keep dancing as a humiliation lesson, trying to scare him into compliance with the rules that protect him from harsher consequences. His grandfather adds a few hits, and the counselor interprets what they witnessed as abuse and reports the family. Soon police and a social worker show up at their home, and Loquareeousβ mother assumes he caused it and throws him out in rage. The scene is brutal because every side thinks theyβre doing βthe right thing,β yet the system turns misunderstanding into escalation at every step. Itβs also Atlanta at its sharpest: a kidβs joy becomes evidence, discipline becomes criminalization, and βhelpβ arrives as force. #AtlantaFX #Loquareeous #BlackPanther #CPS #SocialSatire #TVScene π³π«

The nerve of the staff calling mom & then trying to intervene when she corrects her child
It was such an honor and privilege to be a part of this story and the legacy of Atlanta.
That's one good actress. Had me doing the fucking worm....
"they gon kill u... Now do the worm" π
This episode of crazy too, you think the mom is tripping but by the end of it he gets exactly what she sayin.
this is the kind of parent that keeps her kid alive.
She called it. They love us as their clowns, athletes, and entertainment but get a promotion over them, a better home or ride and we become DEI.
She disciplined RIGHT, she embarrassed his ass and made him think about what he did. She didnβt put her hands on him or threaten him, sheβs a good mom
Obviously these teachers didn't know when you call for the thunder you getting the lightning too π―
She didn't hit or even threaten to hit him. She disciplined him with no violence whatsoever
Hearing black people take the βoh you like smoking, youβre gonna smoke a whole carton of cigarettesβ and expanding it to dance moves is something I wish my grandfather lived long enough to laugh about too
She said "they gon kill you... kill...you" π The teacher didn't expect thatππ
Thatβs a real mom!! She knows his potential and sheβs destined to bring it out, clowning for these people. You got too much brains for them.
βNae nae before u get a woopinβ
She said aye aye aye πππ
For black children this speech is needed πππif there acting out,I approve this message.
"And I better not get another call from this school" factsπ―
Mom told no lies.
I don't like how they literally called her to come to the school and get on to him for disturbing this class. Then when she does, they have a problem with it. Like do you want the parent to help or not?
She looks at him like "Hit it before I hit youπ‘ "π ππ
