Youi insurance is a huge ripoff. They wanted 3k per year for my prado, RAC wanted 1200.

I'm still concerned about their manufacturing processes. Most of the Chinese brands have largely automated production with high precision, the video you did with John Cadogan showed that JAC uses manual welding with inconsistent welding for the chassis as well as some other somewhat alarming issues. It makes sense considering JAC is a very small brand even in China. They don't even rank in the top 100 brands for passenger vehicles in China.
Its actually a rather interesting vehicle. I wouldn't trade it for my GWM Alpha HEV, but its alright considering its price if your a new vehicle buyer.

I have high hopes for this car and I think it could be really cool, but if you go off the T9 version you still have to be skeptical. Fingers crossed it turns out to be a good car with high build quality. Kudos to JAC for trying something exciting.

Where is all the excess power that's claimed on the specs? Has more kw than the shark and 350nm of torque more than the shark yet it's slower.

Not that own a shark 6…..you’d be surprised at how capable the shark is when it comes to 4WD activities!!! One has to learn how to apply throttle….its not like a traditional 4WD vehicle but very capable. The JAC looks good though.
I was scared for JAC as a company after the negative reviews to the T9, but I'm glad to hear they're still trying and bringing some actually decent products.
Why did you guys have to change Utes, first was the orange Ute and then when you did the off-road section the Ute was gun metal grey ? Did something go wrong with the orange Ute????
