Meg Jones passing game is wonderful!
Full Credit to WAL for some of their defensive efforts & scoring 4 Tries, but Kabeya's unfortunate injury is why I didn't think it was wise of ENG to start as many 1st Team Players as they did & risk adding to the already long list of unavailable players. It was the ideal Home Game to have started the likes of Lutui, Short, Venner, David, Sing etc with experienced players on the bench if needed.
Sara Orchard screaming lain-brained commentary, again. Watched with the sound off!
36 from 36. Breach and Packer with 55 international tries each. A debut try for David in her home stadium. Ten tries. The Red Roses are unstoppable at the moment.
Congratulations team. And well done Meg ❤
Great to see Wales finally starting to show what good coaching can achieve. Also, they may have done England a favour. With a difficult match ahead against France, this could help England close some areas that the Welsh coach had identified. Don't get me wrong I never want England to lose, but better opposition is the key to improvement, especially while rebuilding a squad.
On another subject: watching women's internationals I've been struck by how often the girls, while singing the countries' national anthems, look a bit embarrassed almost to the point of bursting out laughing. I find this a refreshing change from the men who sometimes look as if they're about to burst into tears with emotion. I suppose it's because I consider myself vaguely patriotic but shrinking from nationalism. Do we take sport too seriously?
Do they have a English commentary, I know the Welsh should have their own biased commentary only fair. But as a England supporter where do you find a commentary with a English bias, surely that is only fair.
England shouldn’t be conceding 4 tries to crap like Wales
Screech screech screech - unbearable.
How comes they don’t show any conversion attempts?
Helena Rowland should never have been the Roses kicker, should have left it to Holly Aitchison. The Welsh kicker was awful too.
Forward passes all over the place from both sides.....there seems to be a reluctance to penalise forward passes in the women's game. I don't get it. It's the rules...why not penalise a team for not playing withing the rules?? Unless the touch judges just can't pick up on passes that go forward....
The BBC SHOULD not be even be on YouTube
Absolutely superb
I went to this match
Not too disheartened by that performance from the Welsh ladies, some good moments and nice to get that point. England will always prove to be too powerful even for much better sides than us. Hopefully we can build on this and finish 3rd behind the inevitable top two, England and France.
"And they will not lay down in this fixture". England 55 Wales 19, 73.34 played. Thee comes a point where only bats can hear the screaking commentary after England score, needs a level headed person an octave lower and less panic in her voice. Ear defenders are a must.
Another great win, fantastic debut try for David. Really unfortunate injury to Kabeya. Red Roses go marching on 👏👏👏👏👏
