RE after taking ozempic
A Royal Enfield's EV bike, who would have thought- it's a Brave new world. For a brand like Royal Enfield—which built its identity on that signature thump and old-school charm—moving into electric is a big cultural shift, not just a technological one.
Its a beautiful bike. Full 1920s vibe. Most beautiful e bike I have seen. Goes well with RE legacy
All the best to early adapter's 😅
Looks like something from 100 yrs ago has been modernized. Looks cute tho.
It is a brilliant move by Royal Enfield to go with an electric-native architecture instead of just stuffing a battery into a Classic or Bullet frame. By moving away from heavy steel and utilizing a forged aluminum exoskeleton and magnesium casing, they’ve prioritized the power-to-weight ratio over raw battery size. Hopefully, other manufacturers like Mahindra take note of this "clean-sheet" engineering. Rather than trying to electrify legacy brands like Yezdi or Jawa using existing petrol chassis, there is so much more potential in developing ground-up EVs like this or the River Indie. The 8kW continuous power and the modularity of the footrests (since there’s no foot brake) really show the functional benefits of a purpose-built EV platform. This is the kind of "Deep Tech" approach the Indian market needs to move the needle beyond just aesthetic electrification. Looking forward to seeing how the S6 scrambler builds on this‼️
The name "Flying Flea" and the Design are throwback to World War 2 Flying Flea motorcycles so technically this is also retro. I was surprised Rishad didn't mention that.
Finally someone had the sense to place both brakes on the handlebar.
As an American looking for a small electric bike to add to my collection, I am really excited about this and can't wait to see it make it over here.
Wishing the first batch customers best of luck with their product testing and manufacturing defects testing for the second batch customers 🎉🙏🏻
2kw onboard charger is great thing to have in such a slim bike with 2hrs to full charge , without needing to carry bulky charging cables. Many manufacturers should opt for onboard chargers as well.
This looks soooooo cool … I’ve had 6 Royal Enfield till now . I’m soooo floored by this design and looks . Getting this one in the future . Hope it’s priced well.
When magnesium burns , its Glorious .
Greetings from the UK! Yours is the first proper review of the Flea, so thanks for that. This looks like a premium product - nice design touches abound, and even the battery pack cooling fins have an art deco appearance. I think the closest analogue would be the Maeving RM1S with similar appearance, weight, and performance. Hopefully, the Flea will undercut the Maeving price wise. I have to say I'm tempted - very tempted!
People were mocking it when it was announced but I think its one of the better EV bikes
For me the winner is the on board charger, I know we are talking about totally different segments, but unless the Ultraviolette Shockwave also comes with an on board charger, this would be a real winner!
16:02 under 2 lakhs would be good considering its specifications and design
So RE did something that Ultraviolet couldn't do it with their Shockwave.
congratulations royal enfield on this amazing frame and school of thought, once we get solid state battery in couple of years, we would have an absolute champion!!
As a Canadian it’s weird to hear someone call Royal Enfield’s bikes bulky & huge… I live in the land of Harley’s and gold wings. lol Those things are giant boats on the road, the biggest Enfield is bare a medium size bike to North America. Not an insult, Enfields are my fav brand.
