Those FX 95 speaker boxes are vintage. They are made by KRACO and are 100 W and are from the 70s That style is known as a "truck box" as they are made to go behind the seat. They actually have a really decent tone
I know people may gripe about the formula of the revival videos and whatnot. But I will tell you, when I see an old truck in the woods and a 2 hour playtime? Amazing. I settle in. Take the wheel Derek!
I'm glad this video came up. I was in a car accident today. Resting at home. Gonna watch a feller fix on some vehickulars. Lol
Derek. As far as cleaning all that organic growth off your vehicles. Mix some bleach and water in a pump sprayer. Mix minimum 50/50, stronger if needed with a little soap to help it stick. It will literally melt all that crap off with no scrubbing needed. I pressure washed professionally for 10 years and have cleaned countless motor homes, campers, buses, etc that were sitting in a southern climate with this method. It will save you lots of time. My papa has a 85 Silverado. He bought it brand new and has always loved that truck. Dropped a cammed 5.3 in it and he's enjoying it. He was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer not too long ago, but that hasn't stopped him a bit. I need to show him the VGG channel I know he would love your content!

I had those exact speaker boxes in my pickup as a teenager. Had about 10’ more speaker wire than needed. That way a guy could set them out on the toolbox and BAM!!! Dance floor by the bonfire in the pasture. I sure do miss those days.

What a great truck - it’s already come 85% since you touched it. Always nice when Jessica helps - you’re a fortunate man. Lost my wife of over 40+ years 3 years ago to cancer. Loved her but she’s never touch mechanical stuff, all indoors for her. Again lucky man she’s willing to help you. I do get the feeling Jessica doesn’t like being on camera but nice she is even briefly to give you a hand. Derek is the reason I bought a 65 C10 last month to be restored from the frame up! And I have never done it before! I been learning so much from him. Lost my dad in March from cancer. We never did auto stuff together but we were about to start. Now im out with my 9 year old son cutting grinding and welding floor pans learning from Youtube! God Bless you Derek and Vice Grip Garage. You give so many people inspiration to get up and just do it and learn. And have fun doing it!
❤ Makes me miss my late husband David A D'Epiro 3/1/63 - 8/20/08. He was my build in mechanic. He passed in his sleep that night. But, his last day alive he was out in the driveway working on his 1965 Chevy C10 Shorted Stepside. It was a good day..Special memories.
