With all what had to be done, this project ended up being just one step before "I'm building my own car from scratch".. well done! Back in the day, I myself was never a huge fan of the Evo 8 (a friend had one. We also had some Evo VI, VII and X, STi's, RS2's, S14's, Cosworth's, etc. in that friends group), but yours turned out amazing. I miss the turbo cars from the late 90's/early 2000's a bit. Nowadays here in Europe it's all about emissions, and not too many of the fun cars (other than some EV's/hybrids) are even making it onto the market.
This is absolutely amazing. If I had one of those unlimited super rich budgets I'd hire you at unlimited expense to do this with me for a 99 2G DSM. Love that I found this channel, keep up the great builds!
Thank you for saving that Evo 8. Watching you restore this Evo makes me misses mine. Yes, most cars coming from the Midwest will have rust issues because the owner probably doesn't take their car for wash after driving during snow.
