Hey Guys, Just a quick FYI. So I'm getting asked a lot " why didn't you sort out all the rust on the underside, suspension components, radiator brackets etc etc " well this is only the first stage of restoration , in this episode the car is "restored" to a roadworthy condition so that I can enjoy it guilt free through the spring summer and autumn months but come winter it will be getting "restored" to showroom condition. I hope this answers most of your questions and puts your fears at rest. Oh and as for the barrage of " why did you cover up the fog lights" Its a Subaru rally heritage thing that started with the original Impreza back in 1993 on the world rally stages.
This is something I wish I had the money for. A garage and a project car to rebuild. The feeling to finally drive the car you worked so hard to restore must be incredible.
Is it just me or did this video make you just want to pick up a wrench at 2 am in the morning and start fixing things?
Back to the 30 minutes plus videos and complete restoration. Thank you so much 🙂
As a car and restoration enthusiast, last night I found this wonderful work among the videos recommended by YouTube, which I enjoyed from the first to the last minute. Great channel, I subscribed
I absolutely love seeing old cars being brought back to life and rescued. Any guy can appreciate the process of taking something completely gone and bringing it back to life. Great video!!
Oh my god that My Summer Car reference caught me completely off guard
Great restoration, obviously your passion for cars, your vast knowledge in vehicle mechanics and methodical workmanship shines through your work. 2 thumbs up and and my subscription for a job well done.
Excellent restoration. Your attention to detail is first class, and the video very well made 👍🏻Looks like it was an excellent condition car to start with, can't believe it got broken for spares just because the turbo was shot.
everything from camera angles, editing to pace of car upgrade is so perfect! showing the car being built w/o spending too long or not showing enough of it is hard! and you are nailing it! aswell as shooting other videos for more detailed parts of the build, im in love!
Recently fallen in love with the look of the WRX, and man, this video made me smile. The comparisons of the before and after shots are unbelievable!
Whoa, you do a helluva job "filming"(and editing)! Just how many cameras do you use? It takes patience to work with this much effort, thank you.👍🏼
I really appreciate the work you have put into this project . I'm a motorcycle guy, but I enjoy it .
M8 seriously you have done a great job, i can't imagine how you are feeling after seeing all this effort taking shape. Greetings from Greece.
You have no idea how much I appreciate these long restoration videos. Can't wait for the future projects. Oh, also, your sense of humor is so on point. Thanks for the laughs :D
As someone living in Colorado, USA, I see these all the time, but I forget just how awesome they really are. This video made me fall in love with them all over again.
Love your content, it’s so satisfying to watch as you meticulously restore things and keep a very organized work space (out slide of my skill set). I love the pace of your videos too, all too often channels similar to yours spend 3/4 of the video saying what they are going to do rather than actually doing it. You say what you’re doing as it’s getting done… very refreshing.
Unbelievable restoration man! Good to see a Scottish restorer doing such immaculate work 💪🏼 🏴 If I see the motor out on the roads I’ll be sure to wave! Cheers!
One of the best videos I have watched,no annoying music, camera angles or someone screaming like they’ve had to many sweets. I think you have got the formula just about right thank you for the time and effort you must put in and the car is pretty good too
Your videos have come a long way. The commentary is a welcome addition, nice job. This is such an unbelievable transformation!
