A skilled technician had done similar restoration work on 15 year old BMW 525d in Normandy France. When he started the car the sound was the same as if it came out of factory !!!!

Superb job on the resto. I would have removed the fender turn signals and installed turn signals in the side mirrors to update it even more but thats definately not a deal breaker by any means.
