A lot of people have no idea that the 80s and 90s cars are still kicking, this consumer culture. They think if it's not new it's not worth it. Absolute gem! And great work on that Enkei.
The fact this guy did the whole thing in 15 minutes blows my mind! Takes me that long just to wash my car.
This is honestly what YouTube is all about. Great job!
The previous owner managed not only to get someone to remove that vehicle from their property, they got the person to pay them $350 in the process. GENIUS!
You helped me revive my own 1988 Legend. Picked a beautiful golden sedan for $700 that had been sitting a long while and followed your videos to bring it back to life. Running like a champ now!!
Amazing transformation on this one. I have a 1986 Legend I'm doing similar work on. Nicely done!
This is proof that not only expensive or rare cars need restoration, even the cheapest ones can look beautiful again if given the time and effort.
There is something so sexy about boxy 90’s Japanese sedans. I will never tire seeing old CB7s and Legends still surviving. Great video, from a fellow Honda fan
I got a 2002 v6 accord coupe for $250 4 yrs ago. Needed 1 wheel bearing. Ran great.
Thankfully Honda/Acura recently announced that they intend to start making parts for all their past vehicles available again, starting with their most iconic cars.
Amazing work, that car is a rare gem and it deserved better than the scrap yard. Seeing old jdm cars being restored to original specs is my absolute favorite content and you did a great job!
You are literally living my dream: each car that sits abandoned or forgotten in a field or behind someone's house was someone's first car. They went and purchased it brand new and absolutely loved it (save rentals, of course). To come across someone on YT who shares this same secret passion of mine is awesome!
I had a '90 Legend with a 5 speed stick. What a great car with incredible quality. It was fast and a real joy to drive.
This was a really unique restoration, my favorite thing about this project is how you approached it with a logical and sensible outlook to all of its issues and found solutions fairly easily. A little effort and confidence in a project can truly take you beyond what you think is possible. This is awesome
The grandson should have bought it back from you. Amazing save.
Amazing that the floor board had no rust. Such great build quality.❤❤❤
It is soothing looking at shiny restored old Hondas.
Nice video, I still can't believe there isn't any rust on the floor! 2:57
Part of the reason cars are so expensive now is because of how much tech is in them compared to the older cars that were simpler to run and drive. Makes you wonder if a car could be sold for 15000 dollars if it stripped out a lot of the modern features and just kept the very basics and simplified the engine. The reality is you don't need more then 150hp on a commuter car and it can still have a bigger body that is more driveable.
I remember seeing these in the showrooms as i went to buy my 1987 Integra. They were 19 to 22k at the time. I drove mine for 9 years. I wish i would have put money into my car to update it instead of buying a newer car. The 80s Acuras were beautiful cars.
