Just a quick story for you, James, my friend. Your song Pop Up the Headlights is my 4-year-old daughter’s favorite. About a year ago, I was driving her home from the swimming pool. She seemed to have fallen asleep, so I put your song on during a 5-minute stretch on the highway. Turns out she wasn’t asleep at all. she suddenly said she loved the song. Since then, it’s become our song for every trip to and from the pool (3 times a week). She even watched the silly music video and thought it was hilarious. Yesterday, her mom was coming with us to the pool. I asked my daughter if she wanted me to play the song. She said, “No, my mom is here. That’s my dad’s and my song.” You’ve done so many awesome things in your career, and you should be proud of every one of them. Thanks for this memory and for every video you’ve made. James, I gotta say- I really appreciate you showing how you can be totally into cars without knowing from 12 years old how to rebuild an engine from scratch. I didn't have a dad around to learn from growing up. My grandpa was super into cars and had a garage but died when I was little. So when I see you just jumping in and going for it without a ton of experience, it really makes me feel like there's somebody else out there who's getting more into cars in our late 20s/early 30s. Been watching your content for years and hope to meet you one of these days!
