The blue box points directly to the black box, By doing so, it identifies the black box as the "target" The black box then confirms this by stating that the gems are located in a box that actually has writing on it (a " box with a statement" ), which excludes the empty white box and points back to the two active choices, Since the blue box is the one pointing to a specific location, the Black Box is the most consistent answer
There must be one true and false statement, and white doesn't have a statement, so blue and black cannot both be true. If blue is true, so is black, breaking the logic.
