I actually can’t believe I fell for the troll pick at the beginning again.
You are the hidden gem of gaming youtube.
"Up first, we got Blue P-" Me: "hello police, I'm calling to report a hostage situation, this man is clearly being coerced"
You don't understand how close I was to actually clicking off the video when you said Blue Prince. I see SO many videos of "games you missed" that list 10 games I played. Good thing I checked the video description for the games list before leaving lmao (also thank you for listing the games in the video description, how else are people actually supposed to both watch the video and remember to actually check out the games)
Got your own under loved hidden indie gem? Shout ‘em out below, who knows, maybe I’ll cover it ten months from now
I *adore* Isles of Sea and Sky. Thanks for including it, time to see if there were games on this list I missed.
Between Sea & Sky, Baba is You and Void Stranger, we have to come to the conclusion that Sokoban is the most inspiring and important video game ever made🫸📦 What a legendary algorithm pull. Thanks for the video, keep up the good work.
void stranger is my favorite game ever.
Hey now, there’s ALWAYS money in the banana stand
0:53 you're playing a dangerous game. A couple seconds more and I woulda be outta here 😅
Dungeons or Hinterburg is a game that truly grew on me, though I think taking my sweet time with it is why I have it at nearly 100% completion. It's a perfect lunch break game for me. I'm gonna have to check some of these out soon, but my god, the backlog....... Thanks for the quality video as always!
An actual hidden gem games video that actually showing video games that are genuinely hidden gems. Most other videos that follow these type of contents are slop that always ended up just sharing already popular indie games and sprinkled some actual hidden gems here and there.
"Deck building tile laying auto-battling rogue-like" Son 🥀🙏 😭💀
Yay! I love these videos surfacing genuinely obscure indie titles. Isles of Sea and Sky looks really fun, too. 🙂 Another title I recommend checking out: Together in Battle. I won't spoil things, but it's pretty dang unique. (Just make sure you play on a low difficulty if you're not very experienced with SRPGs.)
Isles of Sea and Sky gives me Adventures of Lolo vibes.
Another brilliant vid, sir! I've been thinking of doing an indie game round-up like this, as I have a couple friends working on games that I am hoping to check out when they finish. Might be ... collab time? I gotta DEFINITELY check out that first one. Right up my alley
Time to collect more bangers
Here's some more! - Blessed Burden - Grunn - The End of You - Filcher
Isles of Sea and Sky was one of my favorite games of 2024. Gonna have to go get Tux and Fanny for some vintage hipster points.
My biggest most beloved hidden gem is actually from a gigantic studio. Its Shinsekai: into the dephts. Its one of the best metroidvania ever and is made by none other than Capcom... It was made fro Apple arcade them deleted from it and released for Switch. without any marketing. Really fantastic game.
