Not gonna lie, the Deoxys wimping out via Struggle being a Chekov's Gun to how Charlie managed to squeeze out a league win was masterful unintentional storytelling.
Charlie not mentioning that he told Rae his unrevealed strategies on the couch forgetting he might have to face her again.

even taking 3 games of valkyrae's team is insane it was genuinely so stupidly strong, like raikou with spore, a pokemon faster than the current fastest spore user who was given negative priority spore to balance it or a dragapult who was just a watered down csr, but thats still pretty close to being a csr
