Into the Woods did such a good job of using the original stories while also combining them cleanly. For example, Cinderella’s story was told pretty closely to the original (while also adding the beans ofc)

Adition fun facts 1) The mother wasn't just craving the plant,she wanted it so ,uch she got horribly sick 2) When the stepmother hears about her pregnancy and chops of her hair,he also magically transports her to a desert
