Same incident happend with me. But nobody helped me. I held the rod strongly. These drivers don't realise how difficult it is to climb the bus when it is parked too high to the road.

Conductor is supposed to give the double bell after ensuring all passengers are stable. Driver can start only after that. Someone has rightly said, India is functioning anarchy.

This is the exact reason i hate travelling by bus. Every bus i encountered did this. They'll start driving as soon as the passenger climbs up and the passenger had to go through the moving bus and stand near the exit door before reaching their destination. I don't know how other people did this so easily.
