GTA 6 will carry this channel for another 10 years and I'm all for it.
You know the video is going to be peak when anyaustin is talking about rivers
Nice one Austin - love your attention to detail. I actually put some of those dry tributaries in. Oh, as you ask, I was responsible for that dry mud riverbed off Tongva Valley 🤘
Funny thing is, the Alamo Sea is based on the Salton Sea, which is landlocked and has been slowly drying up for decades.
That river is literally has a main story quest chase through it lol
19:00 Dude I was seriously so stoked for a dog walking tangent haha
0:11 "I got out to look at it" as an industrial truck casually rips your door off 🤣
Just because a river looks dried up on the surface doesn't mean it's always "dry", these specifically look like intermittent and ephemeral streams where water can still be flowing through the subsurface also called the hyphoreic zones of a river. You can usually tell by the presence of shrubs and grasses on the surface that survive off that subsurface flow.
I really appreciate how Austin doesn't stick to the lakes or riverbeds he's used to.
As someone who did a lot of off roading in this game, ive been all over every square foot of that map. You missed a really small deep pond on the mountain east of Chilliad on the other side of the highway. I think it maybe had a small waterfall. But it was randomly isolated from what I remember
You know Austin is going to have a lifetime of content when GTA VI releases
4:15 So, the water coming from two directions: The whitewater coming from the closed gate suggests there is an opening such as a Sluice which is pouring water from the lake back into the canal - kind of how a lock works. Therefore, the water would flow back and meet the incoming water I believe. This may be a rare case where you get two flows opposing each other - frozen in time. (I work on boats and locks on the River Thames).
19:00 dang I was interested in the dog facts lmao
Oh my beloved anyaustin

You may have seen the surprise message at the very very end of the video during the end screen. More information will come about that soon, but for now just stay tuned to the email list or my socials.
Austin you've started a trend with people pointing at games and talking about details and honestly I love it
0:12 that's just you, I remember hunting a yeti there at least twice and flying a very advanced jet through it top gun larp style just to name some things
19:10 I was thinking to myself “no way he’s researching the dogs distance” lmao got me good
I don't know if you stumbled upon it and didn't show it here, or you missed it, but there is a really cool water cave on the eastern side of the coastline. Its quite spacious and the atmosphere in there is really unique. Check it out when you play again, its unofficially called the "Coveted cove". I'm impressed with all the hard work and research you do. Your way of simply talking about stuff and feeling the beauty of these games is the shit man, makes you stop and think. Exactly what I would like people to be, just real. This is the first comment I've randomly typed out on a video in years, apart from ones when I reply to people on my own videos. Appreciate you, man.
0:17 isn't that the river from the mission derailed? Did he not play the story 😂
