He didn’t make no dam wish he was hypnotised and his stupid “friends” undid it just coz he was jealous his friend was happy
That scene made me bawl like a baby when I saw the girl because before that I didn’t add up that physical deformities like burns and stuff would carry over with the spell so I honestly thought the kids had cancer or something until that point
He didn't make a wish, he was hypnotized by someone, and his friend convinced the dude to remove it.

As a child I always wondered why people acted like they couldn’t see both it took time to realize they just don’t want to. They “know” what they see is all there is, so don’t look anywhere else
This will always be the saddest scene from the whole movie for me not when he doesn't recognise friends as adults but right there when he doesn't recognise that beautiful little girl
It's a shame that a film like this would never be made today. Someone would be offended. But it has a great message about acceptance and that every single person is beautiful in their own way. And to never, ever judge someone by their outward appearance.

I really don't understand how the lead actors regret this movie. It gave so many people the feeling to finally be seen and had a beautiful message.
