This teacher believed a wobble seat could help a student who struggled to sit still. When the school denied her request, she paid for the classroom support out of her own pocket. Her kindness is inspiring—but should teachers have to spend their own money to give students what they need? #shorts #teacher #education #WobbleSeat #classroom

If a kid in my classroom had 1 ppl would say “why dose he get 1 and we don’t “
I’m assuming he has adhd or autism and as someone who has adhd I need this
My class would be like why do they get one but we don’t and in the morning there gonna try to race to get it
js wait until it gets stick drift
Only 6 out of 7 people can comment “WOBBLE CHAIR” without spelling it wrong. Can you? 👀👇
My old school used to have 1-3 of these per classroom, everyone would fight for them all the time/rush to them at the beginning of class
School won’t because they don’t not want 20 to 30 other complaints
God bless that teacher
I have These in my school
She spent a lot of money on a wobble seat for a student, and the school didn’t pay for it and that proves how much she loves her students
I feel like it should have not just the schools responsibility but also the SENCo responsibility aswell. Edit: w teacher, she is probably good for taking care of neurodivergent students who have hidden disabilities or disorders. Edit2: for some explanation, the child might be diagnosed with adhd or autism or audhd (aka both autism and adhd) requiring a wobble chair (I think it’s called) meaning other students would understand if the child is diagnosed but if undiagnosed and still having a wobble chair the other students may get frustrated and ask for 1. So it depends if they are diagnosed or undiagnosed. (Also thank you so much for 41 likes this is the most I’ve gotten!🎉) Edit3: guys I’m actually so greatful for 50 likes this is the most I’ve ever gotten. Edit4: wait can yall stop commenting rq I get anxious when I feel like I’m getting negative comments and it can lead into a meltdown for me.
We have these but we are not allowed to use them
We DEFINITELY need more teachers like this. I feel like no teachers ever go out of their own way to help a student who is struggling
Now thats a kind teacher❤😊
In finland all schools have these
Probably because its unfair that 1 student gets it and the rest don’t
We have these at my school
i bet 100% that the school said no because of fall hazard and complaints from kids n parents. honestly shes doing her best to help the child learn after all shes partly responsible to help them learn. i say partly because the parents should also help their kid at home. ive been studying at home to refresh my memories to be able to help my son in the future ( hes 3)
The school should absolutely pay for it, EVEN IF the student isn't diagnosed with anything. Really shows you care about your students and i love teachers like you.
I passed out while sitting on one of those. Fell back and hit my head on the tile floor
