I don't understand why people act like period products are something to hide, it's sad really.

Omg, it was so embarrassing. I went to a rock concert on my period. It was my first concert. I wast just coming off, but I still needed a pad just in case there was a bit of bleeding. I didn't want it to ruin my look. Lucky I wore all black to hide any bleeding. It was hot too and in the middle of Summer! So I had to stay hydrated. 😂 Anyway security saw it and I tried to come up with an excuse. I embarrassed my self more. They were more concerned about me having a bomb or a knife or something. Because a few months ago the arena had been attacked. I have anxiety too which didn't help the situation. 😢 Now I just, don't care if security check my bag and see my pads. I do get some looks, but I just look back at them back. I feel more relaxed knowing that they are doing their job properly and keeping us safe. I guess it's just a thing with growing older.

Every xoncert with a clear bag I carry 7 pads even if Im not on my period just in case anyone has a surprise period or needs to change. After becoming a mom, I take being a mom friend seriously because anything can happen. I also recommend people to get 1 shirt, pants, undergarment for emergency. Nothin fancy or stylish, get from free bins at yard sales, just in case one day you'll need them and have somewhere in your car at all times ♥️

Honestly I show off period products. Like if I'm walking around the shop with pads I don't hide them. Or if I'm in a public bathroom I rip open pads to assert dominance lmao

People can be quite dramatic when on their period. I don’t find it embarrassing. I always tell my male friends when I’m on my period and if men find it embarrassing or discussing then they are the ideots. A period is a normal thing. All my guy friends support me. Two of them bought me chocolates before and they like to try to help me too

First ever concert I went to, I started my period the exact same day. I can guarantee you they do not care. The woman checked my bag, it was quick and I was in. They don't think twice about it and they've already forgotten about it by the time the next person is being checked. I know this is just for dramatic effect for the video, but in real life it's only immature people who act like this.
