Ted Learns His Unbeaten Team Is Being Divided by Three Rival Cliques | Ted Lasso (TV Series)

After AFC Richmond’s women’s team is fully assembled, they begin their season with two wins and two draws. Although the team remains unbeaten on the field, relationships between the players begin deteriorating. The squad has divided itself into three separate groups based on playing position: forwards, defenders, and midfielders. Even during breaks in training, players spend most of their time only with teammates from the same positional group. Whenever the coaches praise one group, the other two become frustrated. The competition between the three groups gradually creates more tension throughout the squad. Ted, Coach Beard, and assistant coach Alice Chilton meet at Mae’s pub to discuss the problem.
