Funny thing about vegans...they eat stuff that is non vegan and they are ok with it. For example, I wager that bread for the sandwich was made with eggs and milk. Perhaps that tofu was fried in butter. 🤔

There’s quite a few Vietnamese foodie places here in Western Canada with signage saying “Banh Mi.” It’s pronounced “bun mee” and means bread or wheat cake. I love their crusty sandwiches vegetarian and with meat. So yummy.
