And they did it all without asking for invasive information
Doing this before the actual Steam Machine will set a good standard
This 1000% was a test for the Steam Machine and Frame. Excited to see that they are making upgrades to their system.
Just remember, DO NOT GIVE IN TO THE SCALPERS. Let their wallets suffer.
Valve is a bright, shining beacon of hope amidst a world gone dark with rampant greed.
It's never been easier to be a normal company
I love this company. Looks like I'll be getting one.
Vavle, Never ever ever ever move away from being a private company; never go public.
Dude, if we had Steam quality customer service everywhere, we would have global prosperity lmao
I managed to get one on May 4th. I am perfectly okay with not being able to get another one, as that helps mitigate repeat scalper purchases. I sincerely hope Valve puts in a reservation queue for the Steam Frame and Machine. Because the hype is real for those devices too,
scalpers gonna cry on their warehouses of wasted "unable to sell" controllers
Gabe: does nothing and wins Gabe: does something and wins harder Gabe: Learns that the system isnt working and fixes it, wins even more
The thing that I love about Valve is that if they make a mistake, they immediately learn from it and take steps to improve.
>do something >win
Another Valve W. Add it to the pile.
They had this rule for the release of their Steam Deck: good standing, purchased something and the account age. It's baffling they didn't do it from the start.
Fantastic news, hopefully this stays implemented for the steam machine and frame as well
Imagine being so good at something that your only problem is people buying your product too much .
Remember. It's morally acceptable to steal from scalpers.
Trying to scalp the product whose customers are the most patient people on the internet is certainly *a choice.*
