4:10 Turkish Delight is made with rose water, so yeah. Soapy for some people. But the thing to remember is: he likely had never had sugar before, because of the war. So this was his first taste of SUGAR, of candy. And that’s why he reacted the way he did. 😊

I'm pretty sure that Turkish Delight is traditionally flavored with rose water, so that may have been the soap flavor you were tasting.

I always do my subscriptions through PayPal. I give companies one chance to cancel and then I cut them off at the source and don’t allow them to charge every month. 😂 They all try to be sneaky that way

I do have to come to Edmund's defense you have to remember he had been living under sugar rations in the UK during WW2, I also would sell out my siblings for a Reese's no questions asked if I hadn't had sugar in a year.

I know some Turkish Delight is made with rose water, so, yeah, there is that. And I know it was the time of rationing, but I agree that Edmund selling out his family for some sweets is just ugh. Though, honestly, the only non-annoying child in that entire family is Lucy.

Wow you actually received your Eyescream beauty Box? Wow. I haven’t received my Box, Bag, or pigments For months and months. They won’t change my address after I have asked since SEPTEMBER of 2025 countless times on both emails, instagram, facebook, and their website. Oct an on have been sent to that old address(that doesn’t exist anymore bc it’s demolished for new construction), returned to sender and never sent to my actual address. Im officially mad. It’s stupid that the address is not able to be changed by the subscriber & HAS to be the employees. I’m so upset at this point bc they were my fav subscription.

Turkish person reporting... The most traditional Turkish delight flavour is rose water. However, most modern Turkish people don't like rose taste so the most commonly consumed version is double roasted pistachio. It should never taste like soap so I assume they were off or something.

If your hair is anything like mine (thin and attacked by sle lupus) try using a moisturizing shampoo and a curly hair conditioner in the shower. Then when you're ready to make it curly just re-wet your hair, rake your fingers through to loosen into clumps and scrunch it. No products at all just lots of water. I don't use a dryer or diffuser but if you do use a diffuser don't completely dry your hair with it. You need the water to keep the curl clumps. I just randomly scrunch my hair while I finish getting myself together. Serums and curl products just make my hair look limp and thin but plain ole water makes it look fabulous.

Water activated liner is a disaster waiting to happen.

My daughter almost always does minimal eye make up and then uses her HUGE selection of water activated liners to draw mini things in the corner of her eye (occasionally on the lid). We went to a dinosaur thing and she had tiny dinos walking across her lids. They were so stinking cute! She does flowers, charecters, seasonal images, and so on. We're big Halloween fans, so she often does seasonal images for the while month, not just a few days. So, you don't need to use it as a liner, have fun with it.

There’s a Turkish cafe and bakery near me and they have real fresh and handmade Turkish delight and it’s actually delicious. It’s totally different than the gel in powdered sugar thing

I was talking to my hubby when I kinda just mumbled "I want aaaall of that" at the PLouise unboxing when you said that the branding reminded you of Sailor Moon. Sailor moon is my favorite show of all time, so it all suddenly made sense. To say I agree with you is an understatement, lol.
