Honestly, If I could relive my late teens and twenties, I would focus on ME and my own growth, learning and adventuring, growing my own identity apart from others instead of settling for people who weren't good to have in my life, who influence and altered the paths I was on. Once we know more of who we are and what we want and deserve, we can more accurately choose those who are right for is, both friends and a partner...and I can experientially say it's so much better to NOT settle for people who don't bring the best out of you through appreciation of who we are, encourage our dreams, and treat you like you're wonderful to be with, not just a parallel occupier of space. Some people are like parasites and will draw on your energy till it alters your mental health with their moods and thoughts...when you're very young you don't see it as clearly and you think that just because they are "there" it means they're a friend or a partner.

Having something to look forward to is actually considered to be one of the keys to happiness. If nothing else, you've always got your next cold brew. Lol Just kidding. I love my Java too.. Have a great weekend.
