This weekβs episode is a big one. I collect Bertie from South Coast Diesels after 6 months there and honestly itβs hard to put into words what that place and the people in it have meant to this project. The very last few bits get finished up and then itβs time to say goodbye. And I know this sounds daft talking about a tractor project but myself and Tombo just struck gold working together. Not in a romantic way before the Facebook detectives start, the man has a wife and kids π but genuine on screen chemistry and friendship like that doesnβt come around often in life. From the very start he just understood the vision and gave this project absolutely everything. To say I got lucky having Tombo involved would be the understatement of the century. After a pretty emotional goodbye, Bertie heads off on the next stage of the journey down to Conor Jenkins and the team at Long Haul Commercials in Tullamore for the biggest transformation yetβ¦ paint. And with the launch now only two and a half weeks away in Ballybay, things are getting very real very quickly. I wonβt lie, the pressure and stress levels right now are through the roof trying to pull all of this together, but seeing Bertie finally moving into the next chapter makes it all feel worth it. #SammyTV #Bertie #SouthCoastDiesels #LongHaulCommercials #Tombo #MasseyFerguson #VintageTractor #TractorRestoration #IrishFarming #FarmingLife #ClassicTractor #MF35 #BehindTheScenes #YouTubeIreland #IrishYouTuber #Tullamore #Ballybay #LittleBlueHeroes #TruckAndTractor #RestorationProject

Hi, Sammy, I live in Minneapolis Minnesota. Please tell Tombo that if I could drive my car there I would definitely take it to South Coast Diesel and ask for Tombo to work on it!! Great videos and Iβve learned a lot of mechanical tips from him.

Brilliant job Sammy & Tombo. Will be nice to see it painted. In fairness to the Flying Fergy Man he was right about the time scale and about the work that was required. Looking forward to seeing the paint job now.ππ
U couldnt have found a better person to look after Bertie, he is a star like u. If a jobs worth doing, it's worth doing well. Tombo has fine standards, he is proud of Bertie π What a journey u've had and this is only the beginning, good on yer for keeping at it Sammy. Cheers, Poth ππΊ

Absolutely brilliant video again. I donβt know what weβre going to do after the launch. I look forward to seeing your videos every Thursday hope you have something in the pipeline. See you at the launch Sammy π .
Nice one Sammy I think yourself and Tombo should tie the knot, ye have the love child Bertie, so what ye waiting for. It would be a big celebrity event. I was a big Iveco fan back in the days of the turbo star but them new Iveco's are the business. The 50th anniversary one that Martin Ryan's has, is a real head turner. Can't wait to see what Bertie turns out like after Connor and the boys and how Eoin and the crew get on with the Scania.
Christ Sammyβ¦that was a very emotional episode β¦the music and empty bay at South Coast Diesel β¦it has been special though!! Have absolutely loved the whole Bertie journey!! ππ
Here now Sammy, yer some woman for one woman. This is now one of my favourite youtube channels. Tombo does need his own channel, maybe a bit of biscuit reviewing? But aye, lots of love to ye Sammy, keep er lit!
