Bertie says goodbye to Tombo & South Coast Diesels πŸ˜₯

Autos and Vehicles

This week’s episode is a big one. I collect Bertie from South Coast Diesels after 6 months there and honestly it’s hard to put into words what that place and the people in it have meant to this project. The very last few bits get finished up and then it’s time to say goodbye. And I know this sounds daft talking about a tractor project but myself and Tombo just struck gold working together. Not in a romantic way before the Facebook detectives start, the man has a wife and kids πŸ˜‚ but genuine on screen chemistry and friendship like that doesn’t come around often in life. From the very start he just understood the vision and gave this project absolutely everything. To say I got lucky having Tombo involved would be the understatement of the century. After a pretty emotional goodbye, Bertie heads off on the next stage of the journey down to Conor Jenkins and the team at Long Haul Commercials in Tullamore for the biggest transformation yet… paint. And with the launch now only two and a half weeks away in Ballybay, things are getting very real very quickly. I won’t lie, the pressure and stress levels right now are through the roof trying to pull all of this together, but seeing Bertie finally moving into the next chapter makes it all feel worth it. #SammyTV #Bertie #SouthCoastDiesels #LongHaulCommercials #Tombo #MasseyFerguson #VintageTractor #TractorRestoration #IrishFarming #FarmingLife #ClassicTractor #MF35 #BehindTheScenes #YouTubeIreland #IrishYouTuber #Tullamore #Ballybay #LittleBlueHeroes #TruckAndTractor #RestorationProject
